Sometimes Ignorance is Biss

Being as I live in La-La land, I'd had no idea of the accident, nor the opening of the Olympics. So sorry about Nodar. *:-.(
The lives of many people will never be the same.

But since life does go on despite tragedy, and an athlete would not want the games to stop, the Olympics carried on. I will be watching just about everything. Winter Olympics is my favorite.

And so is Hormel Turkey Pepperoni. I have just got to face that fact. I had 3 pieces as I grazed through the fridge, deciding what I was going to eat. Ate a few blueberries and a hand full of grapes before deciding on a cinnamon raisin bagel.

Oooooh, I worked my calves really hard yesterday......

Note to self

  • Self, face the fact that you and Turkey Pepperoni have a long term relationship.
  • Be sane about it, like you have to in any relationship.
  • Kudos for being sane.

Squats are great!

What is she doing? Holding a lunge position while doing bicep curls? That's nuts!

Today was leg day(sigh). I love leg day. I love doing squats; squats with barbells, squats with dumbells, squats with tubes, squats with machines, rear lunges with dumbells... Squats are great. And Deadlifts. Yes, those too.

And back. (sigh) Pull downs with tubes, bent over rows with dumbells...it was good.
Later when I have more time I think I shall do Yoga for Beginners with Rodney Yee.
Downward Dog

Patrick made Chocolate Chocolate Chip muffins made with chocolate milk this morning for breakfast. I took one. They are so rich it takes me 3 hours to eat one.

And I had two slices of Hormel Turkey Pepperoni.

Sanity is great

First of all, here is proof that Red Neck Roy exists. That's him behind Patrick, heading down the road during an Arkansas blizzard. He's crazy. We stayed off the road.
*;-.)

I have rediscovered sanity in my eating, even leaving the turkey pepperoni in the fridge. Yes, there is some damage done that needs to be repaired (eating right and exercise), but PMS week is indeed a trial to be reckoned with.
Note to self:
  • Kudos for leaving the pepperoni in the fridge
  • Kudos for eating better, and being sane about the chocolate
  • Kudos for sending Mary outside with the camera and catching Red Neck Roy on film

becoming sane again

Today we are having snow again, so I am definately not going out to walk. Red Neck Roy is out there today and he does not know how to drive in this stuff. Otherwise, I would LOVE to walk in the snow.

I would like to take another look at my kickboxing video with Kathy Smith. There is not a lot of moving around so I might be able to do it. I find that I fare better if I do aerobics barefoot. I also fared better when I tilled the garden barefoot or in my favorite thick rubber flip flops. =:-0 Don't try this one at home, kids. Always wear YOUR shows.

I think I have become sane again and hope to able to eat like a sane person, tho I am still PMS-ing.

Breakfast was a sugar free coconut candy, like a mini Mounds, tho it was mini-ier than that . I also grabbed the Blueberries and nibbled on a few grapes. Then, I finaly decided on Raisin Bran with Almond milk.

I have just eaten a beef hot dog (that has been heated up too many times and boiled for too long, thanks to cook-it-all-to-death-Katie...urgh) on a bun from the Wal Mart bakery.
*;-.P
Note to self
  • you don't really like hot dogs when they've been cooked to death repeatedly.
  • don't force yourself to eat it even tho you like the texture of the Wal Mart bakery hot dog rolls.
  • Kudos on eating only ONE coconut candy this morning.
  • Kudos for not continuing the stress eating today.
  • Kudos for being safe from Red Neck Roy.
  • Kudos for considering the Kathy Smith Kickboxing again

Red Neck Roy and all his inbred cousins are on the road today. I think I'll work out inside today. =:-0

Now that PMS anger day is over, I think just might do Yoga with Rodney Yee today--(sigh) AND! eat properly.

I don't remember what I've eaten over the past couple of days, but I am sure I *don't* remember for a reason. =:-0 Amnesia is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. God is good.

What day is this? A PMS day

Today I am really battling the famine panic and PMS cravings. UGH! I am losing that battle. Breakfast was 1 square of Fresh Apple Gingerbread, 1 small slice of Cuban Water Bread a grapefruit. BUT emotionally, that was not enough. I HAD TO eat a pretzel rod and um....a palmful of chocolate rocks. UGH! I am miserable

I had a sandwich for lunch with cucumbers and sugar snap peas. And good conversation
I did a short yoga sequence, squats, back, arms and abs

Dinner was Bean Pot. Ate only a little cuz I am SICK of bean things.

I think I have a handle on the famine panic, tho PMS is raging. I made fudge. It's working. 10 pieces of fudge and my raging PMS and famine panic are gone.

Next morning I made muffins, ate a blueberry one and a tropical surprise one and 1/2 of a large apple, gave the rest to insatiable son.
Lunch was......vegetarian vegetable soup (campbells) and a couple of pretzels.
Now I am eating a little popcorn. Think I have a handle on the famine panic. Don't want to eat everything.
I walked with Patrick today and worked pecs, delts and abs.
Note to self
  • self, step away from the fudge
  • you prefer to do the pose guide sequence on the yoga. Is longer and you feel the workout
  • Kudos for *really* having a handle on the famine panic
